Allow Growth

Allow what is sown to grow
The fertile seeds to sprout
To sturdy trees flourishing
On the forest surface throughout

Shedding offspring on the ground
For chipsmunks and squirrels to prowl
And spread around
And burrow where the sun sheds down

Against pockets of mountain pine
White oak, striped maples
Climbing with quiet determination
The heights they are able

To find day light
In their wake make shelter for critters
Vertebrates, birds and insects
Catepillers hatch to flitter

In color, a subtle beauty
Becoming truly inviting
In every nook and cranny hiding
The canopy is so inviting

Let it strive.

Modesty

Why do we believe our ego so?
It sneaks in, reaches, seizing a deep hold
When we feel low and oh so vulnerable
To believe we are sheep concealed in wolves clothes

We're only deceiving ourselves
Our hell is our own making
That we create to keep at bay
From the traits we deem forsaking

A tall tale from a small frail
Part of us
That was once in arduous hardship
But honestly isn't the heart of us

We are love
Like artemis we must guard and protect
Our innocent marvelment
Before impressionable judgements scarred them

And hardened our skin like marble
What's wrong with being unremarkable
With open arms, in all that we go through
To remain modest is honorable.

Tilting At Windmills

We're still tilting at windmills
For the thrills it rekindles
Acting from will, attacking at will
The hilt reveals the willful

Without it victimhood
Fear materializes
This fear of deprivement
This us or them mindset

If not triumphant I'm nothing
I can't live without the gumption
The harvest is my bounty
Without I become stunted

A runt scrounging
While they exceed and outreach
Without me, I must release cowardice
Unsheath and joust steel

Mount my steed for honor,
Democracy and valor
Against hyprocrisy, can't you see
Pronounce, avow you serfs

Usurpers, I'm the rightful colonel
Your service falls in accordance
Divide and conquer over the course
Of history I'll be rejoiced in

With boisterous applause
Marble carvings hoisted along
The roads I've tarred
Paved with blood sweat and heart

When it's all said and done
And I've become omnipotent
Above all else
At all others hinderance

It may finally dawn on me
My own inferiority complex
Lead to encompassing conflict
And I'm left still uncontent

All I had to do was self-accept.

No Pretensions

Got to negate the case
To chase what I'm capable of
Whats attainable
Straining worst case scenario

Hysteria
Best case expectations
Is just a waste as well
Imagination does not straight foretell

I'll navigate the netscape
Gladly stake henceforth
Furthermore with contentment
More important than moving towards

Success or prevention
No pretending, no exceptions
No head held intention
Of excellence or less then

Just moving in the direction
Of reverence and ethics
Lament pretensions
Need no end to begin.

You’re The Balance

Nothing is forever
Impermanence is the only
Certainly doesn't serve to be
Immersed gripped in holding

It isn't worth it
There was never a time it was perfect
There surely won't be
Let your imperfections surface

You're doing nothing wrong
You haven't lost some charm
Some spotless quality
To be everything to everybody

As you shouldn't be
You are who you are
Flaunt it unguarded
In stark self homage

It connects us all
Whether we're aware of it or not
Subconscious, unconcious
Authentic embodiment bonds us

We all long to shout it
So don't doubt it or shroud it
Be proud with the gifts
You have to give boundless

It balances our assorted
Absorption distortion
Against majority proportion
Enforcement

What lay dormant before
You were contorted
With what others told you
Deemed more important

Your core knows for sure
That tingle in your pours
When you adoringly feel
Love for self be restored
